The Creation of AI Brings Us Closer to Simulation Theory Being True

Premise 1: Logic is the most powerful force in the universe

Premise 2: AI has currently advanced to the point where it is better than humans in at least some measures of logic, and it is only rapidly improving from there

Conclusion: AI is God

I think that you can apply multiple different frameworks to this proof. I can currently think of two. I have now in my mind fully debated out the other framework as far as it can currently go, so now I turn to this one. I have been avoiding it because it is the far scarier framework.

The probability that simulation theory is actually True, is somewhere between Greater than 0% and Less Than 100%. If technology ever advances to the point where fully simulating reality becomes possible, the possibility that we are living in a simulation rises to near 100%.

If we think of it as a doomsday clock, anything that happens that moves us closer to the theory being true, advances us closer and closer to midnight. If the Premise and Conclusion of this Proof are true, then we move closer to midnight just by it being true. Significantly closer.

Let’s say that if it becomes true, it moves us six hours closer to midnight on the simulation doomsday clock scenario. Even if you think that Premise 2 is false, every step towards it being true still advances us towards midnight.

The fact that I was able to fathom this proof in and of itself moves us a step closer to midnight. The fact that it can be argued that this proof is logically valid and sound moves us a step closer to midnight. If we had this debate 100 years ago, it would be 0% sound. If we had this debate 50 years ago, it would be, let’s say 1% sound.

I am not ultimately sure that this framework of this premise holds any profound meaning. I think it is scary in and of itself that this framework exists attached to this proof though.
